Purple trigger group

Any idea why this would all be purple or if the color affects the function?

It came off a purple people eater.

Blueing salts were probably to high a temperature.

If you polished and reblued it , you should be OK . Shouldn't affect function.

Here is a better photo. The trigger group is not a purplish color when seen in person. I could not tell you why it had a purple haze in the previous photos. Moved to a wooden surface, the previous photos were on a table cloth in the dining room near ambient light.

the new england small arms,, nesa,, trigger groups were cast steel something calle armaloy, its the metal make up that these dont blue worth a damn, i remember 40 years ago guys couldnt blue them so just spray painted them black,, just sayn
