Irontoad Posted August 20, 2003 Report Share Posted August 20, 2003 Just wondering if anyone could explain or knew of plans to convert the Suomi drum to have a sten magazine on it thus giving 70 rounds? geodkyt Posted August 21, 2003 Report Share Posted August 21, 2003 There is one company that is fighting ATF's determination that adding a pre-ban Sten mag top to a Suomi pre-ban drum is "making a new magazine". SO far, ATF has declined to take any action against them -- probably thinks ATF would lose in court, if faced by good lawyers. There are also some supposedly "pre-ban" versions of Suomi drums attached to other SMG magazines before the 1994 ban.
