The most detailed explanation of the adoption of the Cutts Compensator, and the testing of the CUTTs compensator on BARs and other machineguns of the day. TSMG28 Posted October 7, 2021 Report Share Posted October 7, 2021 Bayrain, The threads on the original Cutts Compensator are listed in the drawing at the beginning of the article. They are 0.618-28-N-D as shown in the drawing, aka 0.618"-28-NS-2. They were made to fit an existing barrel at the time. This thread was only used on the Type I compensators.
