22 cal conversion kit for thompson SMG

Looking for 22 cal conversion kit for Colt thompson SMG(1921;1928)

You came to the right board to ask about this, or anything else Thompson.
The preferred .22 kit was made by Merle Bitikoffer. His one person shop is no longer in operation.

Unlike some others, Merle's has a steel bottom plate, that brings the ROF close to the real thing.
They usually came as a complete set, with parts to work in all (21A, 28AC, and M1) Thompsons.
If you have only (only?) an original 21, you will also need a 28 pilot (spring guide rod).
The kits are no longer in production, but sometimes one will show up for sale on this board.
Not sure of a current price, but guessing somewhere near 1K is probably not too far off.
.22 Caliber 30 rd curved plastic magazines for these kits are still available from Black Dog Machine.
If the kit includes any of Merle's custom built 50 round drums, that will strongly influence the price.

The design of these drums lets them work in M1's, as well as 21s & 28s.
There have been several posts on these kits over the years, but a forum search doesn't seem to show them.
