StrangeRanger Posted February 9, 2022 Report Share Posted February 9, 2022 Here's a sketch of a winding tool done on an open-access drawing from McMaster-CarrIf you use a slip-on end cap instead of a threaded one, you won't have to remove any material from the ID but you won't have the ribs on the OD to help you grip it. Your choice. One note of warning: The dimensions shown work for both of my drums which were built by the Molot factory.
