STEN spring dragging on sear

Got a STEN and when i cock it, it seems to drag the spring over the sear a bit. It function checks fine, and of course if I pull the trigger and cock it , the bolt comes back and no spring drag. But if I cock it normally, the spring does drag over the sear a bit, but not to the point its very hard to charge

 

Is this typical for the design?

i think its normal,,if it aint broke dont try to fix it, just sayn
