mbc230
I bought a used West Hurley a while back and finally started to strip it down completely. Well I noticed the Sear Block has a small chunk taken out of it and also the disconnector is rusting along with being pitted really bad and I am guessing from lack of cleaning and maintenance from previous owners. From the looks of this Tommy Gun it had a hard life and lot of rounds put through it and was never dissembled and cleaned. Does anyone have a Sear Block and a Disconnector they are willing to part with? Please pm me pictures of what you have and the price. I do not want any Kahr parts at all. Prefer older G.I. parts if they exist. I will only be able to pay via Credit Card. Thank you for your time. Countryboy77
The West Hurley 1927 Does not used any of the GI fire control parts.Completely different animal.Kahr is your best bet for parts for your 1927.Otger stiff like ejector barrel mag catch spring yes. Even the wood foregrips on your West hurley as well as rear grip is different than a Gi 1928. The rear grip of a gim1 may work.
mbc230
what is a : sear block ? try to us GI terms, just sayn In the instruction manual they call it a "Sear Block". I am only repeating what I saw in the manual. I do not know where they came up with that term. I would call it a "Sear". I was just taking a shot to see if someone had those parts they wanted to part with is all. Some of the parts are GI Compatible, but not many at all. I know that Kahr is my only option, but I just wanted to see what is out there. Thank you though. Edited April 18, 2022 by mbc230
