Steelflood
Looking to get my hands on a Phila Ord blank firing gun. I'm located in Florida Thanks!
TSMGguy
These are very desirable. I'd think that those who own them (like myself) wouldn't want to part with them, especially not at a discount. Of course, a new one can be purchased directly from PO. Roland the Thompsongunner
Keep an eye out for an Indianapolis ordnance as they also work well. Not sure if they have uppers in stock or not but worth a look. I have one and it works 100 percent and you can adjust the rate to where you want it. The Phil ordnance guns are also great. Roland the Thompsongunner
They do shoot different ammo though the Phil ordnance shoots a round similar to a regular blank 45 round and the indie guns shoot a blank made from shortened 308 brass and they are available from Atlantic wall Edited September 5, 2022 by Roland the Thompsongunner
Steelflood
Thanks the Ind. 1928 part is in stock but not the M1. I'm trying to figure out the best way to match new uppers/barrels with new or well used original manufacture lower trigger parts

I'm on the list for a new unit but I was more than willing to get a used PhilyOrd piece.

Steelflood
Well, according to the review the 1928 SS product was the least screwed up and MP40 'most'. Where do I sign up? Edited September 9, 2022 by Steelflood

Roland the Thompsongunner
The same room gun my friend has works well but is complicated inside on how it all works. The indie ordnance and Phila ordnance guns are pretty much like an original design for the gun just modded for blanks. Much simpler
Steelflood
The same room gun my friend has works well but is complicated inside on how it all works. The indie ordnance and Phila ordnance guns are pretty much like an original design for the gun just modded for blanks. Much simpler In just a few weeks I've noted that the Thompson world contains a wasteland of machined products with merit that simply went poof when the person carrying it forward left. I'm used to projects continuing when the founders leave, so the abandonment or these products is interesting to me. I might make an index of those projects so the history is in one place. I did find the review off the SS Room BFONG. I'm just not qualified to make any of the improvements suggested so it's just of historical interest to me. The way I look at it, when we loose a project now, it becomes a historical event in the future. http://90thidpg.us/Equipment/Reviews/SSR1928/index.html
