WTB 1928 Cutts Compensator

Recommended Posts

Troy0331,

Be careful purchasing used compensators, especially when the pin is installed like many in that picture, above. Always ask for a picture of the threads. It is quite common for compensators to be removed from barrels overseas without removing the compensator pin. This is easy to identify because the compensator pin becomes threaded as it is forcefully screwed off the barrel. I know from experience the pin is difficult to remove when this happens. More importantly, I have heard that compensators removed like this do not tighten up correctly when re-installed on another barrel. If only for a display gun, no problem - glue it on. For a real gun, I would avoid these.
