Yeah, you just never know where a 1907 might show up?

I will say the recoil is pretty minimal set up as a conversion with the muzzle brake.  Control in FA would probably not be that bad depending on the rate of fire?  Next time out I will have to bring an unmodified 1907 for comparison.

Haha, very cool! As I wrote in the article, I think 600 shots per minute is a likely ballpark number, which should be not too bad considering the power of the cartridge, the compensator and foregrip, and the weight of the weapon.

Marvin told me a lot of stories about how they tested guns in a barrel of sand in the basement.  He said he worked on a lot of the guns.  I'll try to find my old notes.
