Rabbit57
I picked up a British butt stock from Tommygun Collectables to use as an example of how the British handled the reinforcing of their stocks. Sadly, my stock is missing the butt plate and screws. Does anyone have an extra they would be willing to part with? If you do, please let me know how much it will cost me. Thanks, Mark

Rabbit57
Darn, the butt plate they are selling is for the 1928A1 model, and I forgot to say I am looking for the M1 model. Does anyone have a spare M1 model? thanks, Mark

APEXgunparts
Not sure what the deal is on M1 Thompson butt plates. APEX has a good supply of the stocks, but has only ever had a handfull of the butt plates. I am surprised that no one has started to make them. ltcajh
I have an Auto Ordnance. Maybe if you get a butt plate from one you can fit it to yours? When I shortened my stock the butt plate was undersized. I welded 1/4" square iron around the perimeter, then ground it into shape, used blacking to get a good fit, then polished it. Rabbit57
Thanks for the information Itcajh, I was able to find the correct butt plate from a member who reached out to me privately. My British M1 butt stock is restored! Mark Edited September 19 by Rabbit57

Spoke with them a few days ago. They say they only carry 1928 used and new buttplates. They never carried m1 plates? Idk. Maybe I spoke to the wrong person?
