NFA amnesty
https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1028701365 I was looking for a host USGI M1 carbine for my registered M2 kit and saw this. I think it is too nice to make it my host gun as it appears to be in original condition or at least period correct, but thought others might be interested if they collect carbines. The pictures are not great but from the description, a very nice condition carbine. Not sure what the serial number is but the date of the barrel would make it either Dec of 43 assembly or early 1944. I am not an expert so not sure on that. For the starting price, looks like a good deal for what you get. I just started looking for a nice mix master carbine for my m2 kit and sure I find something very soon. NFA amnesty
Looks like a high wood stock which are not common but would be period correct. You are correct, could just be a period correct piece but most of the carbines I see are mix masters and import stamped. jim c 351
Pics are really terrible. I'd want better pics before bidding. Jim C
NFA amnesty
Someone got a good deal on that rifle. Sold at 1125 for a period correct inland. Hopefully the weapon is as nice as the written description. I almost did a bid but again saving my money right now and I don't collect M1 carbines. They want that much around my neck of the woods for a mix master import marked carbine.
