19Steve67
Evening: Recently purchased a Winchester 1907 SLR in .351 caliber. I dis-assembled the rifle to clean it and replace the firing pin. I started to reassemble the Winchester and I am having trouble getting the recoil spring back onto the recoil rod. Any help on where I can get DETAILED instructions on re- assembling this rifle is VERY MUCH appreciated. Steve

Wish I had viewed a couple You Tube videos first. Check out You Tube. There are a couple tricks shown that make it easy. Search Winchester Model 1907. Steve Leoenard’s book has instructions and how to make some simple tools to aid in the process. It’s the best way to go. Ron

ron_brock
Excellent! I’m away at the moment or could try to help you talk through it. If you still get stuck with the book instructions, I bet you could call Len and have him talk through it as well. Ron
