Looking for Magazines For My S & W Model 76 Submachine Gun

If you just want mags for use, get Swedish K mags.  They may need a bit of sanding on the front or rear pads to fit properly.  The Egyptian Port Said mags are sometimes a bit less expensive.  Finnish Suomi mags with the finger loops on the bottom are the best!

Spot on. Why spend $500 per for an OEM S&W mag when the Suomi mags (with easy sanding/grinding) work perfect. And they are about $39 each.

But if you must have an OEM, then Autoweapons.com has them, brand new.

Autoweapons.com is a very suspect site,  they list literally a ton of MG's but people report trouble with their purchases. Buyer beware!

Just did a quick search to refresh my memory,  the Thompson section of this forum has an old thread(2018) about their legal trouble, FWIW.

And their prices are laughably high. Wouldn’t touch them with the proverbial 10 ft pole.

Actually, I've bought many accessories and two SMG's from them and have had zero issues. That's where I got my OEM M79 sling!

Not suspect at all.  People without money report trouble trying to make lowball offers and are mad when they are rejected.

I bought some rare stuff in the last 12 months for a screaming deal.  I sent money, they sent product quickly.

NOTE.  Swedish K/ Suomi mags actually work better than S+W factory mags.

Correct, I just bought four suomi units and in less than 15 seconds each on the grinder, I have four excellent fitting magazines.

APEX sold a good number of Suomi magazines in the past couple of days.
Was that purchase made by someone here?
It just seems like a coincidence.

Richard

I'm guilty on 9 of those counts.  I have a S&W 76 on the way and just bought nine Suomi mags from you guys.

I have a number of Suomi mags I don't need,  bought way too many for conversion to S&W 76 mags. I'll sell reasonably if there is interest.

ONLY grind the front flat tabs (there is a small one and a larger one). Flush with the base.
