ZK383
Looking to have this Auto-Ordnance WW2 Thompson Drum Magazine Type L - 50 Rounds magazine authenticated. I am not well versed in WW2 AO production drums, and I am looking to confirm this drum as advertised by the seller. Thank you.
DFisch
To me it looks like a first generation Worcester drum which is I believe sometimes called a third generation New York drum with a production year of 1928 or 1929? The rotor inside should be the “nickel” rotor, instead of blued. Edited July 27 by DFisch

gijive
The pictured drum is an original Third Generation New York drum with a nickel colored rotor. It is from about 1929, as previously mentioned by DFisch. If the price is right, you should buy it. It is certainly more valuable than a WWII made drum. gijive
Somewhere in the 1200.00 to 1500.00 dollar range. Depending on whether it works or not.

That is accurate, but I usually see them go from $800.00 - $950.00 USD depending upon condition. Edited September 8 by mbc230
