"Interim" until a new name is picked or ATF gets merged under? I’m hoping that the plan is to disband it, hence the interim director. No sense in filling a position if it’s going away. Ridicule me all you want…I can dream, lol! ?
StrangeRanger
Or they combine ATF into the FBI but lay off 40% of the staff and Form 4 approval times go back to 6 months. Be careful what you wish for.
Got Uzi
Sure let’s get rid of the ATF and then who handles all the FFL/SOT license issuing? Who will take over NICS? Want to literally shut down new gun manufacturing? That’s what could happen if the knee jerk reaction is “knock off the ATF wholesale” and no one thinks ahead on it….its not what you think it’ll be. Gold1927a1
All of the laws are on the books because of human nature.... It's just going to happen again and rather than regulations, there would be an outright ban like powerful forces want.
