1927A1 firing pin upgrade

Recommended Posts

Firing pin for 1927a1 thompson, round pin or square pin. Milled from solid steel and not punched out from flat steel and uneven. Easily installed and ready to fire after a little filing on sear height. Selling them for $35 each. Milling them from harder steel also prevents stress cracks from being punched out. Will fit all models of AOWH and Kahr bolts.

I'm in for one of the current Kahr style. I sure would like to have a quality spare. I haven't had a broken firing pin since I started relieving all of the stress from the stamping. I use my rotary tool to knock off the edges and polish them so that only flat or rounded surfaces make contact with the inside of the bolt or sear block. Please PM me with payment info.

Still available? Interested, I think I need the flat style, I am a bit of a noob.

Is there more than 1 style of flat?

V/r

There is a square pin and then there is a round long pin on the end. Depending on year and manufacturer

Firing pin received today.  Interesting to see one without the rolled / sharp edges on the ones Kahr stamps out.  Feels good to have a spare.  Thanks.

Hope you are pleased with it. Any issues or questions feel free to contact me. I will stand behind every pin I make.

Im new to the forum too.  I have a 1979 made West Hurley.  Not sure which type of pin I need because mine broke and I cant see what the end looked like.  Please let me know if they are still available and I will take one if you know which one the 79WH takes.  Thanks!

Sorry guys. I have not gotten any notices  from the website. Yes they are available. But at the moment the tooling is not set up for them. I sent some out but it looks like they have not been received. Not sure what’s going on with the mail lately. If you have paid please let me know so we can get this taken care of. For the new orders let me get retooled and get them cut first.
