2ndArmored
While there are plenty tools to do specific things to specific firearms (like magazine anvils), one task on the Sten eludes me. On my model (II), the trigger housing cover just snaps on. But it fits so snugly that only a small flathead screwdriver wedged between it and the tube can pry it loose. Gouging the only non-replaceable part of he weapon is something I'd rather avoid. I know that people like PK and the late Doug Richardson (et al.) built a variety of tools to work on the Thompson. Anybody out there making one to painlessly pop off the cover from a Sten?
timkel
The earlier covers were held in place with 2 screws. You could switch to that style cover.
skoda
How about a plastic putty knife? Shove it under the cover and lift-push the cover off. Maybe?
