john
Early but we're giving it some thought. With my wife's stroke recovery progressing steady but slow, I need to make any travel plans early. We'll be in Texas for Thanksgiving, our son wants to see the big show so thought I'd see who all might be heading that way? For us coming from Texas, Phoenix is almost right on the way home, ya know! Bayrain
I do plan on going as well. Got to save up some money and get some time off of work. I went last year and the year before. Ton of stuff as always to buy, just got to keep your eye open for what you're looking for.

maxfaxdude
I go every year - there's always lots of good stuff for sale. Usually stay at a hotel near the fairgrounds. Plenty of economical choices.
john
My wife will be with me (look for her in a purple Helio wheelchair) and son Sam also with us. We're staying at a Comfort Suites in Tempe near the airport, but gave stayed several places in the past. We're a few miles away from fairgrounds but close to I10 so a quick trip there. Been told in the past that West Phoenix is not exactly safe but never stayed over there so no real idea but lots of hotels not far away. Love to have a meetup with the usual suspects at some point......anyone have an idea when and where please let me know. Last time we were there we all met up in front of SAR Main entrance by the picnic tables..... John

Will be in the Comfort Inn in Tempe and at the show Fri-Sun. Alice is recovering from a stroke and Sam and I will be motoring her around in her bright purple Wheelchair, probably wearing a pink fleece jacket.
