Mills L Drum Pouch

I recently purchased a L drum pouch with the Mills cartridge trademark on the inside of the flap (no date). The pouch has a shoulder strap but no belt loop. I have not seen one of these before (I have a Mills marked drum pouch with belt loop but no strap). I assume this is a 1920s production civilian drum pouch. Does anyone have any information on this specific pattern Mills drum pouch? I don't have any of my TSMG reference works available at my present location. I do not have any pictures as I have not received the pouch - I will post pictures when I get it.
