The Thompson Encyclopedia a Great Christmas Present

Recommended Posts

With David's permission:

I wanted to offer to everyone the newest line of complete information on the Thompson SMG in time for Christmas. Written by

the most authoritative authors. Authors like Frank Iannamico, Tom Davis, Roger Herbst, Tracie Hill and many others.

Most of the authors previous works have been include and updated with the latest information along with new full color images where possible.

Some may claim this is too much information...well better to have too much than too little.

All are for sale at $100 ea plus $10 freight.

Outline of information in each volume:

Vol 1: The Golden era of the Thompson from 1916-1936. Model of 1919, 1921, 1927, 1928, 1928A1 Colt and Autorifle. Why the Autorifle, because

it influenced the design of the Model of 1923 Thompson.

Vol 2: The Roaring twenties and thirties. The best information on guns used by both sides.

Vol 3: Early WWII The end of the Colt's era to Savage and Auto-Ordnance productions. Explanations  of all of

the variations of Savage M1928, 28A1, 28AC, oddities etc. British and French purchasing of the TSMG. The Bridgeport factory production

with great information on their suppliers. Presentation models and miniatures as well as biographical information on AOC salesmen.

Vol 4: The newest information on all of the experimental WWII designs. With the Savage designed M1 Thompson explained

with all of it's military test records included. As well as new information on the M1 carbine programs, rebuild programs and the

best information on the people behind the production that we take for granted.

Vol 5: Complete information on the wooden toys made by AOC for the Homefront. Plus, the tools and gages used to

inspect the millions of Thompsons produced during WWII.

Vol 6: Starts with information on foreign copies of the Thompson from 1921 - 1970s. Then into the AOC ownership

by Kilgore Manufacturing Co., then the Numrich Arms Company (think you know this time period...I think you will be

surprised at the new information). A complete explanation of the DEWAT program. Plus new updated information on Auto-Ordnance

by Kahr Arms. Commemorative Thompsons, Facsimiles and .22 caliber conversion units.

Vol 7: Drum, box magazines, canvas, Cleaning rods, and ammunition. This is a must have volume for collectors.

Vol 8: Literature of every type, along with explanations of the various eras locations for Auto-Ordnance. 1917-1950.

Manuals, flyers, letterheads, patents and instructions. The photos are worth the price as a reference.

Vol 9: Literature of every type for Auto-Ordnance 1950-2024. Soon to be released by Amazon printing.

These books will look good on any collector's shelves, but can same a lot of money with the information on the inside.

Feel free to contact me with questions.

Volume 9 is now available from Amazon. I should have the first books within the week.

Thanks

Tracie

I imagine it would be more beneficial for you if we purchase directly from you rather than through Amazon, correct?

I now have all 9 volumes! (more to come?)  I purchased volumes 6, 7, 8, & 9 directly from Tracie’s holiday “special” offer.  I encourage anyone thinking of purchasing these great volumes to do so through Tracie while his “holiday special” is in effect- instead of Amazon - due to the much better price than Amazon and without added state sales tax.  His packaging for shipment is without equal and lightening fast!

Is this picture, copy for sale on eBay, in volume 2?

$_1.JPG

Never saw this photo before and it is, I thought an unusual one, says "ANTIQUE OLD WEST REPRO 1933 8X10 PHOTO 5 TEXAS RANGERS COWBOYS THOMPSON GUN".
