Wiclovis
I recently came across this parts kit. It was covered in black gunk when I got it. After a few swipes with Citristrip, I was able to bring it back to the original finish. Bases on my research, this was manufactured during the Korean War. Apparently less than 80,000 Ithaca M3A1's were produced? Either way, I am so excited to start this project. I has posted a WTB for a middle chunk to get me started. Enjoy the pictures! Wiclovis
Thank you! I thought so too. Have been wanting a M3A1 for a long time. Very happy to have it in the stable. Looking for a flash hider, sling, and obviously a repair section now to start the project process.
Rekraps
The cuts to make it a "kit" sure make it easy to revive the gun! Congratulations... I wanna see the end product.
JJX
Congratulations, great score. It wasn’t actually made until after the Korean War, and Ithaca made nowhere near 80k of them. I can’t recall the number. You would enjoy a copy of Franks book, lots of interesting stuff. Thanks for the nice pics.

Ldonewell
I am also looking a m3 grease gun mid section. Let me know if you find a seller with some of these.
Zenithnadir
Ithaca was contracted to produce 70,000 new M3A1s but the contract was cancelled after 33,227 were manufactured.
Wiclovis
Hey guys. Unfortunately, my wife and I had a $20,000.00 bill due, and it sucked a lot out of our savings account. I need to rebuild this account back up and this kit will have to go. Please message me if you are interested in this kit. I did secure a med section that will suffice for project needs of anyone interested in going down that route.
