For over a year now I have been searching for a stick magazine for the SS Room 1928 9.3mm BFONG. I have checked with every vendor, reenactment club and anyplace I can think of with no luck. I have even been scamed several times. If there is anyone who has one for sale or knows where I can get one PLEASE contact me. Thank you.

Have you called "Robb" at Atlantic-Wall-Blanks......tell him that "Blanksguy" referred you to him.  He may be able to assist you with either locating magazines for that BFONG.....or possibly knows someone to make a few for you. Is your model one that fires the 9.3mm blanks (?)........and what magazines does it use (?).......did you receive one with the BFONG that you can post a couple clear photos of for reference (?).

The SS Room magazine takes the 9.3mm kurtz blank. the blank is loaded into the magazine backwards. Only one magazine came with the thompson and it looks like any other 45cal thompson magazine.

Thank you " blanksguy ". Robb was unable to help me. He gave me the number of a gun shop that may be able to help but after several phone messages and a text or two I haven't heard a word from that shop. So sad  that I have a beautiful 1928 thompson BFONG and she just sits. There must be someone out there that has a SS Room 1928 that is willing to part with one magazine.

Post some clear photos of your BFONG magazines from different sides.....and if possible, taken apart.

Robb (Atlantic-Wall-Blanks) makes the 9.3mm Blanks for these.

Hi Blanksguy -

As you can see, the magazine looks like the standard 30 round, 45 cal Thompson. I didn't want to start bending metal to get the spring and follower out, but it works just like a 45 magazine. The difference is the head of the magazine that holds the 9.3 blanks. The magazine is inserted into the Thompson like any magazine, but as you can see by the pictures, the blank is inserted backwards. The fifth picture is the top of the magazine without the blank, and picture 6 is with the blanks installed. If you or anyone can help me obtain a magazine or two, I'd greatly appreciate, regardless of the cost.

Thank you!!!

If I didn't know better, the magazines appears to have been made with a standard 30-rd. Thompson magazine.......with the front cut out and some type of standard (cheap) 9mm SMG magazine used for the modification (.....such as a Sten-Gun-Magazine.....or Vigneron (?)). Placed in to feed to the rear, then welded in place (?). Take a photo with the magazine baseplate removed (if possible) to see inside.

Next....once we get the how-to sorted out.....you may need to place an ad over on the "Weapons-Guild"........."Want Someone To Make a Few Magazines For Me.". There are several persons over on that Boad that could make these for you.....or may have already made them (?).

Thanks so much Blanksguy. Attached are the new pictures requested. Hope it shows what you need to see.

It was most likely made from the standard 45 30rd magazine, modified. I've never looked at Weapons-Guild - thanks for that lead.
