Rekraps Posted January 21, 2025 Report Share Posted January 21, 2025 So, if you're as dumb as me, then at one time or another you attempted to replace a broken front sight adjustment spring and figured the best way was to install the front sight post, then push the spring in until it fit in the slots. Well, maybe if you have three hands and lots of patience, but today I figured it out. Duh. Remove the front sight post using a K front sight post removal tool, (two pronged, on GB), installing the spring is now super easy. Then taking the front post with the tool inserted into the adjustment holes, put the threaded in just inside the hole and apply pressure toward the front of the shroud until the sight is perpendicular to the shroud, 1/2 turn and you are in business.
