Remo Williams 1
Are the several different types or is one just missing parts? Are they interchangeable? I see on that looks like it just clips into the ejection port with a spring that connects to the shroud and then I see the model pictured below with more parts. Mongo
It uses the catch that is mounted behind the ejection port to lock into. Normally the guns do not have that catch but its placed there fore training to use the brass catcher or for guard duty when they have a red ejection port safety cover (think M3 Grease gun safety). Rekraps
Mongo is correct. The catchers have a mounting bracket that fits the ejection port and is secured with a K clamp (not a hose clamp), and a shroud "C" type clip that fits ... over the shroud. The bag unit itself then clips onto the mounting bracket. Many of the ones I've seen for sale lack the K clamp. Be wary as you'll bet getting an incomplete unit. Rekraps
The one pictured is missing the OEM clamp (rear of the ejection port) but you'll need a better picture. I'm almost certain it's a auto hose clamp.
NE Patriot
Mongo and Rekraps are right (as always). That looks like the 2nd model of brass catcher, and the clamp on the back must be an automotive hose clamp. The Swedes used a special clamp, leather lined, with an convoluted sheet metal bracket to hold a bolt+nut to tighten it. As Rekraps said, the clamps are difficult to find, but are only needed if you want your kit to be 101% original. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are paying a premium for complete originality.
