PilotDave
I like cleaning up refinishing and repairing stuff this stock was what over 80 years old it was nearly black with oxidized oil I use the steam cleaning method no chemicals to remove all the old oil and you steam to remove the dents I lightly standard with 180 grit paper and then oooo steel wool And then used about eight drops of tung oil each time rubbing it into the wood lightly refinishing with steel wall between 24-hour coats turned out pretty nice I used rust remover on the steel butt plate and trigger guard and reblue those and I think it turned out pretty nice Edited March 18 by PilotDave 1
