1980FLH
I have all the parts to build a Paracadutisti,(semi-auto) including the correct compensator. What the gunsmith wants to know is the standard barrel length for this version. I have also heard that the Paracadutisti uses a different trigger assembly than the other versions. I am always willing to be educated. BTW, still looking for a carry handle & mount for my Nigerian model.
Frenchkat
According to their sales brochure, the Paracadutisti barrel is 18.41 inches and the Alpini is 19.32 inches. JMA uses 19.375 inches for both models. I haven't heard that it uses a different trigger assembly. The only differences I've heard about is that some have the winter trigger and some don't. AZFNFAL
realize I am a year late , been away........ The base trigger group is the same for all but the winter trigger in the pistol grip model is shaped differently to accommodate the pistol grip. Not all standard wood stock models used a winter trigger . Beretta/Italian military recommended using the winter trigger when launching grenades to avoid your knuckle being struck by the trigger guard , so if the weapon had a Tri Comp it would have been fitted with the "winter trigger".
