Got Uzi
Did a good job of catching the ejector with that cut. Must have been a “form 10” gun situation. Sad some guns have to die so others may live. Be interesting to see the final result.

TEXAS MGC
The pics don't show the serial number on the lower receiver, or did I miss that. I think the lower receiver does not match the low serial number.
Arthur Fliegenheimer
Seems to be an attempt to fill in missing original parts, such as vertical grip- frame grip, with substitutes to make the kit whole. The same seller has a WH C drum listed as "original."

Both Front Rear grip do not appear correct to me but that is just me. These items are always better purchased after a direct visual inspection. No Witness mark and some mark is clocked above where one should be but not a witness mark Rear grip has an unusual appearance, should be a crisper line coming back from the trigger guard An example of a rear grip with a crisp line coming back from the trigger guard Front grip has an unusual shape F Another front grip to compare
68coupe
Mayhaps I'm the dumb one, but won't three cuts make four pieces? Karl, 68coupe

Karl, 68coupe I wondered about that too, maybe he's counting the original saw cut? The nose piece appears to have been saw cut at some point, look at the left side cut behind the ejection port (picture 10). Yet the receiver piece with the ejector is clearly flame cut in that same area? Maybe the nose piece is from a different gun altogether?

TD.
Agree with Colt Chopper, above! What is really sad is NO 151, along with NO 146, were registered with the IRS on or around January 23, 1937. I believe the registration was to a coal company, possibly in Kentucky. The documentation I have is unclear on this. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, it was destroyed. Regarding the left-over parts: As TEXAS MGC stated above, it was not a matching frame. Of note, it is a mixed marked frame, NO 2714, with what appears to be Colt internals. I have several examples of mixed marked frames in my picture collection in the high 2000, low 3000 serial number range. An example can be found on page 173 of my Amateur's Guide book, NO 3186, owned by a forum member. The actuator was the first variation 1921 actuator with nice knurling - correct for NO 151. I don't know about the Blish lock, buffer pilot or spring and other few parts. The head of the bolt was bent. The barrel, butt stock and all the wood are not Colt era. At $8205, plus sales tax and shipping...what a deal ?

SP Sarge
Looks like the buyer was one of the folks that run Frankford Arsenal. I've seen a reproduction cuts compensator they make listed in the past.
