Wiclovis Posted July 4, 2025 Report Share Posted July 4, 2025 (edited) This was a labor of love that started when I purchased a kit back in 2017 for a few hundred dollars. I grabbed a IndyOrd Semi auto kit and got to work. I got it near complete then a few major life events happened (Army, marriage, kids, etc). Just recently, I sent it off to get it parkerized, engraved, and a few other small things done to finish it off. The result is below! I am torn on whether or not to paint it. From what research I have done, H-236 Cerakote semi-gloss is near identical to the original green it came in. I have a mint brass catcher to go along with this as well as a threaded barrel. I would love to do another one in the future with a PhilaOrd receiver....but have not seen one for sale in a hot minute. Got Uzi Posted July 4, 2025 Report Share Posted July 4, 2025 I like it!! I built my semi recently and it’s not a full auto but it’s still fun to shoot. I’m waiting for Indy Ord to put out more tubes with templates so I can do a few more of them as I machined my tube from scratch with no template, just dimensions I scraped together. I’m planning to order material and do up a few “receiver” tubes to test out a couple machining practices and then I plan to make them up to sell as semi auto SBR’s PM me if you still want to build another one.
