Progress on my M3 kit.

Recommended Posts

Was able to get an oil bottle & sling to complete her look. Also got what was claimed to be a WW2 mag pouch for her magazines as well. Wondering if anyone might be able to recognize if the pouch is genuine WW2.

I've been trying to do some research on the mag pouches, but what I see a lot of are Vietnam War mag pouches, and not much on those issued during WW2. Maybe someone may have more knowledge than me on the matter. Thank you!

Currently on the hunt for 7 more magazines to fill the pouch, and a silencer to turn her into quite a hush puppy.

Mag pouch is real. Plenty of them, and magazines out there. (and the gun looks amazing) For the can, consider Joe Jones' integral unit. Custom designed for the M3, his unit is very cool looking, easy to mount and super quiet (zero ear protection necessary). Replacing the barrel, it has the same diameter as the receiver. There is a video on YouTube by Machine gun Mike if you care to view just how excellent the unit performs.

Joe works at Shaw Armament Services, 937.336.9514, they are located in Powder Springs GA (suburb of ATL). I've been to the shop and they are the real deal.
