huggytree
Does the hcar 30 rounders fit in a 1918a2? are their other 30 round options?
68coupe
The OOW HCAR 20rd & 30rd mags are cross listed for their modern-production HCAR & SLR (BAR reproduction) firearms. I know that not EVERY mag will not cross fit, but I'm reasonably certain these will. I bought 2ea. 30rd mags for my 1918A3, which fit just fine. I don't, however, have an original BAR to try them in. I can say that vintage mags fit the same as the new ones in MY gun. FWIW, Karl, 68coupe
Waldo
I bought one. It fits and feeds fine in my ERMCO 1918A2. But it is a little long shooting prone. I have about 200 rounds thru it with no problems.

Somebody did build some 40 rounders for this Rifle, but they were bulky and not consistent in operation. I would love to buy some OOW 30 Rounders! PM me! Thanks!!! Lonnie Joe OOW HAD a sale going on, all new made mags for $120. I just checked, and the 30rd mags show "Out of stock". All other mags are listed "In stock", including surplus 20rd for $50 (which appear to be slathered in a heavy coating of cosmoline). I scored 2 full WWII assistant gunner's belts from a private source. Both are full of mags (12 mags each) for just over $500. One of the belts is a little tattered & in rough shape (the cells are good), the other is "good". All the snaps work on both. Neither is a museum piece, but they'll do their job. At least they're fairly clean, w/o stains. Some of the mags have a little rust, some have electrical tape on the base, and the rest are in great shape. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. lonniejt
Karl (68 Coupe) - Thanks for your Post above! I did secure the last two 30 rounders from Galati International and it looks like OOW has discontinued the production of these magazines for some reason. Don at Ozark Armory fixed me up with his last 3, so I am set for now.
