Welcome back to the Thompson forum. We have missed you. 

Your NAC Thompsons with Colt receivers are still two of my favorites! Pictures of NAC 4 and NAC 9 are in, A Thompson Compendium. Such beautiful guns!

I'm in the same boat as you, was newtommygunner on the boards and lost contact when Delbert update boards over a year ago. Tried to contact and correct that but no luck, so rejoined as guns.

I remember you having a very nice collection. Yea, I'm recently retired and looking for ways to fill my day.

At one time, I was really into the Thompson scene after I went to a SAR East show.

Then I lost my wife of 42 years to cancer, got an apartment near work to finish out my 52 years of service, 40 years with one company. So now I'm into the stock market, home improimprovements and my Trans Ams.

My sons are dealing with life's challenges and really have no interest in guns. So I have to start thinking about selling my guns to not burden the boys with NFA stuff.

We all will cross this bridge, but know this is not a fire sale, I don't need the money, just looking to be fair.

Yeah time marches on. Sold all my machine guns awhile back and just consigned the bulk of my trench guns to Poulin for their Fall auction.

Eventually I'll weed out the AOW's and all the old ammo boxes. Kids have no interest and I don't spend the time in my gun room the way I used to

Still have my collection but at 82 thinking of downsizing, still lurk on the boards. like ya'll don't need the money and kids not interested.

Let me know what you want for the Colt Monitor? not for me i moved all my stuff already.. but for a buddy who i already found a nice cased Thompson for.At least before he gets too old also to quit buying. thanks Ron
