choppero
The last thread I started got a little out of hand and was taken down. I am happy to share a new product on Gun broker. There is also a comparison measurement between the new 1927A1 knob and a 1928 actuator to show similarity. Motorcar
Another thread that had some semi-auto actuator photos got deleted so I thought I would put them back up here. The first is a 20+ year old Kahr "cheese grater" that was turned down to original OD spec next to a Richardson original. Next two are the Richardson close up top view and side. I found it interesting that with the magnification you can see the checkering seems rolled over a bit towards the top but fine in the center. I have owned this piece since long before Doug passed away and never noticed it. To the naked eye you just don't really see it and it certainly doesn't affect function. Still looks great on the gun. Get a set of Easy-pull springs. They make a world of difference. I'm biased, though. I hate the look of the cheese grater, and would use a spherical charging handle even if I didn't have the reduced pull springs (mine are from Howell Firearms inc.). Don't get mad, Phil, just get the springs. You'll be glad you did. LOL My humble 2 cents, Karl
SparksNArcs
I can vouch for Howell's spring set as well, it's a night and day difference. I can hold my M1927A1 with one hand and pull the cocking knob back effortlessly with the other without having to pull the stock into my stomach. choppero
I second the vouch. I have one on a new semi auto 1921 build and currently a customer's 1927A1. It's far better than the early "Easy Pull" kit. You will love it.
choppero
I have New cocking knobs on Gunbroker. 1927A1 - 21 That were made directly from Original AOC print from Doug Richardsons' library. And to dispel any cry to the contrary it is laying on the hand drawn copy (courtesy of recon Bob). The dimensions have been redacted to protect the owner. I had a piece that was miss-milled, so it is cut away to show interior milling.
choppero
I have since taken all choppero Las Cruces Gunsmith products down from GB. Only available from my website (lcgnm.com). Still too much drama. Edited January 27 by choppero Misspelled word

choppero
I intend to keep providing quality products for the Thompson owner. If and when the paddle safety is no longer available, I am ready to make them.
