APEXgunparts Posted October 3 Report Share Posted October 3 It is my understanding is that same storage point is where all those "Russian" surplus Thompson kits originated from 20 something years ago. A good many of them passed thru Ryton Arms in the UK before coming to the USA. That location is still in the hands of the Russians, I believe. APEXgunparts Posted October 6 Report Share Posted October 6 Yes, the 1910 Russian MAXIM kits and Sokolov mounts were in the same place as the Thompsons, lots of Mosins too. BTW, lots of that material was rebuilt post WW2 and placed into storage. The Ukraine held lots of war material for the former Soviet Union.
