BillinBama
Today I looked at the NFA market on Sturm and immediately saw two Model 76's listed, one for $18,500 and the other for 20K. For a good while they were floating around at about 17K and now all of a sudden the increase (in asking prices). I don't know if this will stick or reality will bite and they fall back to "normal" prices, but it's worth watching.
Got Uzi
People can ask more but are they actually getting it is the question.
BillinBama
Of course, that is always the case, but these postings weren't on GB but the forums, which usually are more realistic, but then again maybe someone is looking for extra Christmas money! Rekraps
Agree with you Bill. The M76 is really a good gun (once you install Brian's stock adapter and have the trigger bar hardened) and as noted on another thread that I posted, the gun itself is much more robust that virtually any other SMG. Everyone should have two.
MontanaRenegade86
With NavGunner making new parts for this weapon platform, it's just a matter of time before the price goes up.
Frank I.
What I have seen happen over the years; a gun gets posted at a higher than normal selling price, and gets sold rather fast, that now becomes the "new" benchmark price. Most recently, auction results have had a similar effect. "The prices you balk at today, you will be glad to pay tomorrow."

BillinBama
To update this thread, a few 76's are on GB currently. One just sold for barely $16,000, while a couple listed are starting bids of @ 20,000 have languished bid less. Seems the tolerance for a higher base has foundered.
