rpbcps
Does anyone know which factory this was filmed at; Winchester Repeating Arms, Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company or Marlin-Rockwell Corporation?
68coupe
I wonder how long the entire process took, from start-to-finish, for a single BAR, including hardening of components after machining. Hours, days? Sort of like "Inside the Factory" on Smithsonian channel in the U.S. Just to follow, let's say the billet for the receiver, from start to finish would be very interesting. That's not to say the film I just watched wasn't fun and exciting. The original film was very fun to watch. It amazes me how many of the craftsmen were wearing ties and/or waistcoats under their aprons. I believe that this sort of pride in one's appearance has been lost to time. StrangeRanger
Wearing a tie while operating a machine with rotating spindles today would likely get you written up or fired.
