COLT Thompson serial number 3669

Hello all,

Looking for any information and history on the following,

Navy Model 1928 Serial number 3669

Colt's Patent Firearms

MFG CO. Hartford, CONN USA

This Thompson is and has been in the possession of my local Sheriff's Department along with two other Thompson SMG's in the counties that border me. I am going to get pictures and look at the other two but the one above is in a display case here and I'm just trying to learn about them and to document their history.

Also it does have the JHB stamp/mark on the right side of the frame

Here are the two (2) entries in Gordon Herigstad's ,Two-Volume Set of the The Thompson Submachine Gun.  No further information is available.
