Department I was with had a Tommy and a M50 that shot up a fleeing car in the early 80s They sold it off just before the May amnesty in the 1980s, most of the time since after WWII when the gun was given to them by a defense contractor building Bombers it just lived in a safe. God only knows what the Reising did or did not do. Just by chance I found the gun in PA up for sale with the property sticker still on the stock. A dealer called autoweapons had possession of it and for sale. I bought it and now it is back home where it started its life. I remember shooting this Reising when the Dept had it and we just played with it during range days and I only carried it once on duty. It is mine now ha ha but it cost a lot more than it sold for back then. That 20 rnd mag the state cop was using would not last long during those riots if that is all he had.
