REISINGSTAR
MACBETH, ACTUALLY,NOT AN EASY QUESTION TO ANSWER.ATF DOES NOT LIKE BLANK FIRING GUNS THAT ARE BUILT ON THE SAME OPEN BOLT DESIGN AS THE FULL AUTO LIVE WEAPONS.I REFER YOU TO THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: WWW.SSROOM.COM THIS GUY HAS BEEN BATTLING THE ATF FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS TO GET A BLANK FIRING DESIGN APPROVED FOR MP40,S AND PPSH-41'S.HIS SITE DETAILS HIS PROGRESS SO FAR. ON THE OTHER HAND,IF YOU COULD LIVE WITH SEMI-AUTO,CHECK OUT WWW.SEMIAUTOSTEN.COM YOU CAN USE THEIR KIT PLUS YOUR STEN MK111 KIT TO BUILD A LEGAL GUN (LIVE OR BLANK). HOPE THIS HELPS! BTW-WELCOME TO THE BOARD.BE PATIENT,I DON'T THINK THE STEN BOARD GETS LOOKED AT AS OFTEN AS THE THOMPSON,AND GENERAL CLASS 111 BOARDS DO. Chopper28
I would not build one without prior approval from the ATF technical branch. I doubt very much that they would approve such an idea IMHO>
REISINGSTAR
CHOPPER28, MY SEMI-AUTO STEN KIT CAME WITH A COPY OF THE ATF APPROVAL LETTER SENT TO THE MANUFACTOR WHEN THEY SUBMITTED THE SAMPLE.I THINK THIS KIT IS OK,AS LONG AS YOU ADHERE TO ALL THE STIPULATIONS AS DESCRIBED BY THE ATF.
