Pa Deuce
Hi! It has been a while since I last posted http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif ; but, I write to see if anyone can tell me the standard barrel length of the M2HB and the overall length. I would take these measurements myself; only, I am in my new location, and, Ma Deuce is in my old location. I would like us to re-unite, as soon as BATF approves our re-marriage. Took a new job in a hurry, just got new address to fill out paperwork. Thanks! Earle
Pa Deuce, According to my sources (BATAAN's Gunner's Mates), the weapon overall is 66" and the barrel length is 39". Regards, Earle

Earle
I'll take a tape measure down to the armory tomorrow and measure one of the ship's guns. I'm sure you're right Bob, I just want to make sure Pa Duece puts the right info on the ATF form. Regards, Earle
Earle
Bob, you were right on the barrel length - 45 inches. FM 23-65 HQ, dept of the Army, May 1972 also states the gun is 65 inches long overall "(approx.)" Pa Duece, you probably will be best served by making sure the 5320.20 numbers match what is on your Form 4, or whatever NFA documentation you gun is on. Sorry for any confusion, just trying to help. Best wishes, Earle
