froster Posted December 30, 2004 Report Share Posted December 30, 2004 Look under the barrel jacket and you should see a pin going through the side of the barrel tangentially. Clamp the barrel muzzle in a vise with the pin angling away down from you and rotate the jacket so a hole lines up with your view of the pin and you can drive out the pin. Then remove the barrel from the vise and slide the jacket forward off the barrel. For regular private use there is little need for a jacket to be held captive with a pin, so you can leave it out.
