Z3BigDaddy
You are bidding on a short barrel for a Thompson Sub Machine gun. The short barrel is what made the Tommy gun famous and it just doesnt look right with those 16" barrels on them. You get the 10" finned barrel along with the 2" compensator with the Thompson logo on the tip(see the bad picture). Both are UNFIRED and UNMOUNTED. This barrel will fit your 1927 carbine or 1928 SMG models. Just twist off your barrel and screw the short barrel on, and you're ready to Rock n Roll. If you have a Tommy gun, new or old you got to have the short barrel. For those of you who are not sure about the legality of putting a short barrel on your Tommy, let me asure you that it is legal since it did not come like that from the factory. But, dont take my word on it, check your state law (NY,CA Etc) to confrim this. This barrel will make your chomper look as mean as they did back in the day. YOU NEED THIS BARREL!!! Use the "BUY IT NOW" option and get FREE SHIPPING! Do not hesitate to email with any questions or for additonal pictures. No FFL required for this item. Payment will be by certified check or money order only. Add 20.00 for S&H. Thanks for looking and dont forget to check out my other auctions! Motorcar
Holy crap! It is down right scary what some people will do to sell. Looks like a current production Kahr barrel and comp. Better use the buy now option and jump on that deal http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif
deerslayer
Thanks for the brief history lesson Hardrede, its always amazing the tidbits that a guy can pick up here. Going way off topic, but I found this, http://www.bookitybooks.com/si/45.html Very interesting sounding, might have to buy it. I also found it as King Harald Hardrada (maybe you should change the spelling of your username, might cut down on the homoerotic assumptions). full auto 45
Looks like the same barrel you can buy from AO for about $209? Cutts runs about $80 w/site.

Balder
The thoroughly off-topic Harald Hårdråde discussion has been up before: http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invb...&f=3&t=1258&hl= Some of hardrede's posts have been edited/deleted though. Correction May 28th 2005: ALL of hardrede's posts have been edited or deleted - for some reason. Regards, Balder
Bob
Will someone please enlighten me? How does this wasted bandwidth pertain to Thompsons?

Z3BigDaddy
Well, yes that and more I would say.... Not my intention trust me...... Of all the many words in the post, and the fact that Mr. Hardrede professes to be very knowledgeable about firearms, he comes blasting out with all his insecurities over the spelling of a message board nickname? 1045-1066 King Harold Hardready* reigned. During this time Snorre Sturleson wrote the "Heimskringla." In his Ynglingasaga he said that in 1049 under King Svein and in 1051 under King Magnus, a special sermon against Curonian pirates was introduced in the Danish churches. Z3BigDaddy
"Now that some are so incensed and have found the time to email personally, spend your time trying to prove me wrong on something important, not how to pronounce a nickname that is of no merit whatsoever. " Xclnt advice! To bad you can't follow it.... "Use your noodles for something other than playground name-calling and homoerotic self-flagellation!" Now these statements are just scary... I really don't know how to spell it, so phonetically works for me.... But what you come up with from it...... Where you even make this leap is beyond me.... It does make me nervous that you are a teacher though, with thoughts like this....... Next to last post on this one.... BTW The post wasn't even about you so don't flatter yourself....... Z3BigDaddy
QUOTE (hardrede @ May 23 2005, 08:33 PM) Prove me wrong on the retransfer authorization!!!! Prove me wrong on the ITAR Fee. I want someone to prove me wrong so that we can know what the law really is. FWIW It scares me that people like you Z3 are so active in church. Are you a "camp counselor" or a "Y-uncle?" I really don't even know what you are talking about.... Like I know or care what a ITAR fee is.... Retransfer authorization? The post was about someone selling a short barrel for your semi Thompson. If I put something more than that in my post I did not know it..... I don't know what a "Y-uncle" is.... And I don't do camps, but I do help with building housing in Mexico.... BTW It would have been nice if you would have taken time between jumping to conclusions and posting 700+ times, to send a couple of nickles to Nick to help support the board.... It irritates me that I have to send money so you can post.....
