Tsmg Canvas Cover

This was in with the box of accessories that came with my British Savage 28A1. Just trying to get an idea of the value for a sale or trade.

 

It seems to be in really nice shape:

They snapped to brackets in the Halftrack. They are considered vehicle equipment and were never meant to be issued with the weapons.

Thanks faabala...you answered my question. I thought they might have been issued for individual use, similiar to M1 Garand bags. Oh well...I guess I'll have to find something else to haul my M1A1 around in!

Here is the page from Franks's book showing the case in use. But this photo does not show the snaps in use.... It would be nice to see a picture of it actually in place the way it was designed to be used. I would urge anyone with Thompson interest to buy Frank's current book American Thunder II available from machinegunbooks.com.
