'27 Finished

Recommended Posts

Took me a couple of weeks to get these posted, but I hope all enjoy! PK did a beautiful job on the '27 and I couldn't be happier with the result.

The bolt handle is by Richardson, grips by Dan Block, stock is surplus GI, all else is Diamond K. The barrel shortened (not SBR) and cooling fins recontoured, comp welded on. PK 1/2 grip mount, lower milled for detachable stock, bolt hold open feature with fire control, Lyman sight, GI mag catch refit for full auto mag holes, polished and all reblued. Notice the "Diamond K" proof stamp near the ejector...cool!

Did I say "couldn't be happier"? Thanks to PK, Dan and Doug!

(The drums are WH "C", WH "LEO", WH, Kahr.)

Smooth looking gun! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Does it have the "easy pull" springs in it?

Very nice wood!

The Maestro does it again!

Congrats, I'm jealous.

Thanks for sharing ( that's quite a lot of drums!)

Very Nice Indeed!

You can't beet the combined efforts of quality craftsmen.

I still need to have my frame milled, and a real Lyman.

But the accuracy PK obtained from the fake one is amazing, I almost hate to mess with it.

I just fixed one of the photos, coming home from work at 3am this morning the light went off in my head that I messed one up, I'm still learning the photobucket deal http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/banghead.gif

There are no plans right now for the SBR...everthing is legal in Texas right? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Might go that route with a M-1 model after my wife calms down.

I don't have the easy pull springs as of yet and with the bolt hold open feature for the drums I'm going to wait and see how it does on me for a while.

Thanks for all the kind words, I'm going to print them out and ask my wife to read aloud just so I can hear it in her voice!

PK certainly did a good job for you. I think Dan's wood is a beautiful marriage with that new finish. Sharp gun!
