leid
Guys, I just got finished setting up 3 generations of USGI SAWs. WW1 Colt M1918 Browning Machine Rifle with early WW2 bipod and m21 grip, H&R M14E2, Colt M16A2 HBAR model 741. I left them in shooter-friendly configuration so you will see a few other-than-original parts. Enjoy! dalbert
Carey, Very nice collection! The 3 weapons reminded me of a 1967 vintage picture that my Dad took at Camp Bullis near San Antonio during training for Vietnam. Versions of your weapons are present on a demonstration table on the range, along with several other weapons. From left to right, starting in the forward position, I see the following: (Your results may vary...) M-14 (w/ scope?) M-14 on bipod M-16 on bipod M-60 On table: M79 Grenade Launcher M1911 Pistol M3 Greasegun M-14 on bipod M-16 on bipod Stoner 63? M1 Carbine BAR M1919A6 on M2 Tripod? M20 Rocket Launcher Notice the tiger stripe fatigues, also. This slide has seen a few years, but I thought I would share it for those who might be interested. http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/Misc/Camp_Bullis-10.jpg David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com
leid
Hi David, That is a very nice picture. Looks like a familiarization class with most all the weapons found in our arsenal during that period. Good piece of history! Thanks, Carey
