Bren Vickers
I have a Savage M1928A1 ex-dewat shooter that has a thin parkerized finish. I just bought one of the M1928A1 kits from R-Guns (excellent condition, looks unfired). I want to replace all the parts on my shooter with the R-gun parts. Would it be "correct" to have the receiver sandblasted and re-parkerized (it has some pitting) and then screw on the blued R-guns parts including the the lyman sight? Recomendations on a smith to do this? I also need the ejector hole bushed and rethreaded, the threads are worn and the ejector is loose.
