21 smoker
I just happened to catch the History Channel`s 1 hour show on the development of the belt fed MGs,..Gatlings,Maxims,Brownings,etc....and enjoying the bits of vintage film clips...and then I had to look real close because I could not beleive what I saw...a group of paramarines, camo clad with one of them shooting a 1919,off hand ,Rambo style..and the guy shooting was..Bob Hope...it really amazed me... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
froster
I remember seeing that clip years ago on an unrelated show, possibly one about Bob Hope. It was shot on one of his USO tours of the Pacific front. His dirt berm was only about 25m away. Fortunately he didn't try a long burst.
Chopper28
I had a dealer friend of mine tell me that Bob Hope had a large personal machine gun collection FWIW.
