Did anyone catch the story on George Soros yesterday? He donated something like $150 million! to the democratic party (ya, they are partying alright!) in his bid to un-seat Pres.Bush! This anti-gun freak who donates millions to the brady campaign (among other various scam orginazitions) he states that this is a Dangerous time for America, because Pres.Bush is the President! he is said to liken the current administration to the NAZI occupation of his home country (Yugoslavia?) during the war! when asked whether he would give away his entire personal fortune (in excess of 7 BILLION!) to un-seat President Bush, he stated that if it where Guaranteed that president Bush lost, it would be "worth it" WOW!

Billionaires like Soros and Gates probably give to both campaigns, but give more to their particular ideological party. Then they are covered no matter who wins.

It is still rather disgusting that some extremely wealthy individuals continue their attempts to buy elections (if that is even possible)! Since when does wealth endow one with wisdom? A case in point: an individual in N.Y.S. about 10-15 yrs. ago won several million dollars in the lottery. The first thing this guy did was purchase 1,000 lbs. of marijuana and stash it in the basement. Inevitably, the police caught up with him and I believe he was housed by N.Y.S. for several years, after his felony convictions.
