armament
Very rare transferable WWII C&R British Sten MkII that was registered in the '68 amnesty. To re-emphasize, this is NOT a tube gun, but rather an original wartime sub-machinegun. The gun was refinished at some point and looks like new now. A copy of the original amnesty paperwork will be included with the Sten. Sten is on a Form 3. See links below for photos of gun. $7995 plus shipping. DARIVS ARCHITECTVS
I'm thinking of selling my C&R Sten Mk II also, but it was not refinished to the smooth finish yours has, and has the original as-ground/sanded and parkerised finish. The guy at Armament Services International wasn't interested in buying mine for $8000. He said he just passed on a C&R Sten for $7800. Seems like Stens are not in demand at the moment, but that will change. The price seems to be bouncing around a little bit too. I'm hoping to raise enough money for a MP-40 purchase, so I won't have to sell of the Sten, which despite it's ugliness in design has found a favored spot in my meager WWII collection. Bets of luck to you with your sale! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/woot.gif Edited September 29, 2006 by DARIVS ARCHITECTVS
