aquilon116
I recently picked up a B&B imported Beretta BM62 and she is a beauty! One thing is that the rifle has a post-war SA bolt and not a BM59 bolt. The op-rod also looks like a converted Beretta Garand op-rod as it's stamped with a Garand drawing # but is also stamped "BM59". Are these unusual or pretty common with the B&B rifles? MRJ
Aquilon - My Berben imported '62 also has a postwar SA bolt. Op rod marking is "PB6535382 BM59" which would indicate Beretta manufacture. I'm not sure if it was originally built as a BM59 part or an M1 part. Congrats on your acquistion as these are great rifles both in original configuration or dressed as a '59. aquilon116
Also, it has a very good looking ventilated walnut handguard- never seen that on a BM type rifle (or a Garand for that matter)before!
